This Sunday is Transfiguration Sunday. Join us for Adult/Teen Choir, Sunday School, Adult Bible Study, and Teen Group at 10 am.

Worship begins at 11 am in the sanctuary and will include a presentation by Susan Greig on our self-study Bible Study.

After worship, join us in the Caroline Erskine Social Hall for our annual MARDI GRAS POTLUCK. Bring a dish to pass and a friend!

This Sunday is the Seventh Sunday after Epiphany.

Join us at 10 am for Adult/Teen Choir, Adult Bible Study, Sunday School and Teen Group. Worship begins at 11 am in the sanctuary and will include a Service of Healing for all who are ailing in body, mind, or spirit.

After worship join us for coffee hour and fellowship. At 1 pm, Susan Greig will be leading the third opportunity for the St. JME Self-Study Bible Study. Download the materials from our website (www.stjme.org) to prepare for the workshop.

ST. JME SELF-STUDY – Bible Study #1

We are beginning the next phase of our self-study process at St. John-St. Matthew-Emanuel. We are embarking upon a Bible study on “Discipleship,” with a goal of creating a Mission statement and a Vision statement for the congregation. We hope that all members, of all ages, will participate in one of the sessions.

There are four ways in which you can participate in the study (choose ONE):

-Sunday 2/12/17 at 10:00 a.m. in the Social Hall, facilitated by Marc Youngblood
-Wednesday 2/15/17 at 7:30 p.m. in the pastor’s study, facilitated by Pastor David
-Sunday 2/19/17 at 1:00 p.m. in the back Sunday school classroom, facilitated by Susan Greig
-2/12 – 2/25 download a copy from HERE or from the mass email, and do the study on your own at home.

THEN

Bring PAGE 6 of this study with you to WORKSHOP 1 on 2/26/17 (OR email it to susangreig1065@gmail.com if you can’t attend)

Sunday School teachers, Lynda Anderson and Eric Johnson, will offer the children’s study (pages 7-9) during the Sunday School hour.

The Youth are encouraged to join in with the adult studies

This Sunday is the Sixth Sunday after Pentecost. Join us for Adult/Teen Choir, Adult Bible Study, and Sunday School at 10 am. Worship begins at 11 am in the sanctuary, followed by Coffee Hour and fellowship in the Caroline Erskine Social Hall.

The Youth Group will also hold it’s February Lunch Meeting and will go bowling after coffee hour.

Immediately following worship, join us in the Caroline Erskine Social Hall for our Annual Congregational Meeting. This is an important yearly event in the life of our congregation and voting members are especially encouraged to attend!
