This Sunday is the Thirteenth Sunday after Pentecost and marks the return of the regular church year.

There are a number of events at St. JME this Sunday. Please come and bring your friends and family – all are welcome!

10:00 Sunday School begins! We will feature fun get-to-know you games and gifts for all children. Please come for kick-off Sunday.

10:00 Choir Rehearsals begin! If you have any experience reading music and singing with a group, please come at 10:00. Choir participation is a joy.

10:00 Adult Bible Study begins! We welcome ALL to a very lively discussion. The first week, we will decide which Bible book we want to study this fall. Please join us!

11:00 Worship service returns “upstairs”.

11:00 During Worship, we will have the Blessing of the Backpacks. ALL children and teens: please bring your backpack to church!

12:30 After church we will bring baked goods and School Supplies to the base congregation at Ft. Hamilton in Bay Ridge. PLEASE bring baked goods and school supplies to church! Please consider driving with us to deliver our donation, and meet the people of the base. This is St. JME’s contributions to God’s Work/Our Hands Day.
